Thanks a lot for playing Shogun Showdown, and for the cool reviews we see all day. That's really heartwarming!
Here's the list of the changes :
Changelog
- Bug fix: On MacOS, if you alt-tabbed / switched workspace the game would become unresponsive.
- Bug fix: Enemies and heroes "death animation" would not trigger under certain conditions leading the "death standing".
- Bug fix: Thorns retaliation damage was set to 0 after quitting the game and continuing a run
- Bug fix: True Mastery quest could incorrectly trigger after completing only 4 out or 5 heroes
- Fixed a few typos (English & Chinese)

We're sliding in a quick hotfix, fixing some bothering issues!
We're still cooking internally, and we're very excited to present what's coming!
We'll tell you more about that, but for now, here are the 2 bugs we've fixed on this patch :

- Fixed bug when you open map during tile appearance in reward with gamepad
- Fixed bug with tiles rerolled with warrior gamble that had the info-box disabled

Tweaks:
- Sword -> renamed to Katana and buffed from 1CD to 0CD
- Tweaks to enemy spawning positions probabilities
- When you reroll a reward multiple times, you are now guaranteed not to get repeated outcomes.
- Tweakes to upgrades probabilities (slighly lower chance of -1CD)
- Renamed "+1 max level" upgrade to "+ 1 upgrade slots"
- Restructured the UI for reroll/skil rewards
- Reworked poison effect graphics
- Shop on shogun island is unveiled on the map after defeating Kowa/Sato (before it was unveiled only after defeating Hideyoshi/Nobunaga)
- Removed togglable controls summary button (might re-introduce it in the future)
- Reworked tutorial
- Restructures some menus
- New font for Japanese / Chinese. This solves the issue with the previous font where a "smaller font" was used as fallback option if some logograms were missing from the "main font".
Bug fixes:
- Fixed bug with d6 sometimes not being sellable.
- Fixed graphical glitch for shinobi smoke bomb + karma death
- Fixed some shop navigation issue with gamepad
- Fixed issue if you give up during a reward with gamepad.
- Fixed issue with shogun phase 2 appearing in the wrong cell if killing blow was pushing shogun phase 1.

Fixing an issue with the gamepad in the shop ending up in stucking the selector and softlocking the game unless played with mouse-keyboard. This was mostly linked to sacrifying a tile in the shop

Fixed an issue with the Jujitsuka when throwing the Shogun with 1hp on an ennemy, that ended up in softlocking the game

- Fixed a bug where the game would soft-lock in the shop if you sacrificed a tile when using the gamepad
- Fixed a bug where Fullscreen mode option was displayed in the wrong language
- Fixed a bug where Offscreen inputs could mess up with the game

Hello everyone!
I'm glad to announce that the first goal of our roadmap is there!
GAMEPAD UPDATE IS OUT NOW!
This does mean that you can play the game with your favorite controller! As some of you might have seen already, we've been able to get the "Steamdeck Verified" check so that's also great news for Steamdeck people!
Some of you might not be aware though, there is a little bad news. We wanted to get the key/button binding in this update too, however we had some difficulties having it ready and tested yet. We'd rather publish the gamepad update without it since a lot of people were waiting for it.
Key and buttons remapping is still in the pipe and is definitely happening, you just have to be a bit more patient, and we'll give you more news as we'll have some to share!
For now you'd have to use the default layout, don't hesitate to play the tutorial again to get familiar with it!
Along with bug fixing, here's the major changes for the 0.6 version :
Gamepad support.
Steam Deck compatibility.
New tile enchantment: Perfect Strike.
Increased max skull limit to 9999.
We'll be releasing more minor updates with improvements on the input system (e.g. key rebinding), so let us know your thoughts!

Hey there! Here's the changelog for the first small update of Shogun Showdown! We adressed some bugs we/you found
A lot of you folks requested to be able to unassign/lock the mouse wheel. It requires a bit of translation, so it's not in this first small update, but this will come!
Later (but it'll be in a major update), our plan is to let you rebind your keys (and buttons when there will be gamepad support) as you want!

Bug Fixes
- Fixed a soft-lock situation when entering a reward room with only maxed-out tiles.
- Fixed a soft-lock situation in the Twin boss fight when one twin is killed by being pushed on a trap.
- Fixed a soft-lock situation when both player and Shogun die in the same turn.
- Fixed a major bug involving incompatible alpha-version save files (from an old itch.io alpha version) causing startup errors.
- Fixed minor localization and translation issue.
