This update merges the tutorial and guide toggles into one three-level setting and fixes a long list of issues reported through the in-game F8 feedback tool.
Guide Settings
The tutorial and guide boxes are now controlled by one setting with three levels. Full runs the opening tutorial and keeps the guide boxes and wiki markers on. Basic skips the tutorial but keeps the guides. None turns both off. The setting is available in New Game setup and in the Options menu, can be changed inside a running save, and existing saves are automatically carried over to the matching level.
Astronauts and Crew
- Fixed Astronaut rows in the Earthside crew window drawing on top of their own scrollbar.
- The skill description text in the Astronaut Upgrade Tree is now larger and easier to read.
Vehicles and Logistics
- The Central Hub Deployer is now called the Outpost Deployer.
- Fixed the Shipping ETA percentage on the bottom bar being too small to read.
Construction and Demolition
- Fixed the Pressurized Components alert above a building under construction running off into one unreadable line; long alerts now wrap onto several lines.
- Fixed a scanned terrain marker on a rocks cell turning red after the scan finished instead of clearing.
Missions, Contracts, Events, Research
- Fixed the Event window reward title showing in all capitals instead of the name as written.
- Fixed the Event window buttons showing broken, pixelated text.
- Reward icons for Reputation and Astronaut Cap now use their proper colors, gold and purple, everywhere a reward icon appears.
- Fixed a reward icon in the tier advance tooltip picking up the color of a different reward shown before it.
- Fixed the reward icon being stretched into an ellipse instead of keeping its shape.
UI, HUD, Menus, Wiki
- Fixed the close button on a building panel being grayed out when you switched that building off, which left no way to close the panel.
- Fixed base view icons staying on screen after you opened the Contracts screen.
- The pause and play button tooltip now says Play when the game is paused, instead of always saying Pause.
- The day progress ring at the bottom right now sweeps clockwise while the game runs.
- Updated the Progression icon.
Localization, Text, Fonts
- Fixed the Greenhouse description saying it feeds 6 Astronauts when it feeds 9, corrected in every language.
Saves, Stability, Performance
- Fixed the time controls starting out disabled every time you loaded an older save.

New Astronaut System
- The full crew system from the beta is now in the main game: specialized divisions, the rotation loop between the Moon and Earth, Earthside operations to hire, rest, and train your crew, the per-astronaut upgrade tree, and the Crew Management Hub.
New Astronaut System — Fixes & Tweaks
- End of tour reworked: an astronaut whose tour timer runs out becomes Homesick and keeps working at reduced efficiency instead of retiring. Ship them home and they recover, though more slowly after an overstay.
- The Tour and Career card now turns red when a Moon tour has fewer than 5 days left, together with the ship home warning.
- Added a "Send home" button to the astronaut selection.
- Astronauts now earn triple experience from work shifts, based on your beta feedback.
- Assignment slots now show an indicator when an astronaut is assigned outside their shift.
- Old saves load safely under the new staffing rules. Mismatched assignments are kept but can only be unassigned, and a message on load explains the differences.
Missions and Guides
- The mission card now opens expanded, so your first sub-mission is visible without a click.
- Fixed the Research Lab mission appearing before Phase 2.
- Updated the tutorial videos to show the correct buttons.
- Construction buttons no longer show a New badge during the first parts of the game.
Fixes
- Fixed some buildings being able to be built one inside the other.
- Fixed a major issue where an astronaut returning home could cause all vehicles to stop.
- Fixed a critical bug where all vehicles would stop moving when you order a spaceship.
- Fixed vehicles going inside each other in the tutorial.
- Fixed the Fuel Shortage event description; it now correctly shows the 50% cargo capacity reduction.
- The return home caption on the astronaut window now follows the astronaut's state, plus several localization fixes.
- The Scouting Pioneer event no longer fires on day one. It now waits until your operation has had time to grow.
- Ambient crew chatter no longer plays while the game is paused.
- The Events card no longer opens five rows tall when it holds a single event.
- The bottom bar no longer disappears after you visit Star View and open the pause menu.
- The Earthside hire buttons now show the current division icons.
- Old save warnings are now a single clear prompt that lists every change your save predates.
