Changes
- Added working watch hands to Big Ben in London and the Puerta del Sol in Madrid.
- Updated the engine version from Unity 2017.3.1p4 to 2017.4.19f1.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some of the faulty furniture highlighting that happened when loading old save games.
- A bug in the notification service was fixed that could hang up the game during a campaign mission.
- Fixed street tiles to prevent texture bleeding (white flickering) when zooming out.
- Fixed some room dividers which could not be set next to each other.
- Due to the engine update some black screen issues as well as some causes for startup crashes are now fixed (please report any further issues to team@gentlymadstudios.com).
Fatman Update
Changes
The Fatman, known from Pizza Connection 2, was added to the game. He can be activated in Free Game mode. (Note: The Fatman is not active during the campaign.)
- A description and overview of the Fatman was added to the Glossary. The entry is shown if a free game was started with the Fatman enabled.
- A manager can be activated by researching it in Research Level 3. Afterwards, the manager can be activated in the restaurant’s inspector. This feature can be used to automate several tasks in a restaurant.
- The restaurant displays an icon above the roof to show if a manager is active for the specific restaurant.
- Added new loading screens.
Bug fixes
- A bug was fixed that prevented save games from loading.
- A bug was fixed that prevented researching after a save game was loaded.
- Changed the pizza baking queue so having delivery and a normal restaurant should work more efficiently without long waiting times.
- Fixed stalled AI behavior in some cases.
- Removed overlapping parking lots from the opera in Washington.
- Fixed faulty ground tiles in Madrid and Berlin.

Quattro Formaggi Update (19 June 2018)
General
- Cooks now have a visual effect when baking a pizza.
- A new citizen thought was added: Citizen wants to enter the restaurant but it is closed.
- Graph handling in charts has been improved for the player.
- The warning that an employee has already worked today has been removed from the schedule in the restaurant inspector as it is no longer necessary.
- The comment stream in the bakery has been improved and now uses visual indicators to quickly tell if the comment is positive, negative or average.
- The chef user interface in the bakery now has the same citizen type selected as the smartphone when opened.
- The statistics section in the manager now has a pizza statistic per restaurant that tells how often a pizza has been ordered, how often a pizza has been served and outputs revenue, profit and production costs for a pizza.

Feature: Game Events & Taste Change
- Players can now enable game events in free mode. Based on a chance set by the player the game will trigger several events that will challenge the player e.g. by ingredients that can't be delivered. Game events are disabled for the campaign.
- Added events that make ingredients of specific ingredient groups unavailable for a certain time.
- Added an event that causes a lot of employees to become sick at once.
- Added an event that causes stored ingredients of a specific restaurant to become rotten.
- Added an event that causes furniture of a specific restaurant to be destroyed.
- Added events that make a specific citizen type leave the city for a certain time.
- Players can now enable taste change for citizens in the free mode. This will cause citizens to change their favorite ingredients over time. Citizens will also change their preferences for ingredient types once in a while.
- Taste change is enabled for chapter 12 of the campaign and deactivated for all other chapters.
Feature: Employees
- Employees can now be trained in the inspector or in the manager to increase quality and speed attributes. Only one attribute can be improved at once. Employees work at half quality and half speed while being trained.
- Employees now have a motivation attribute that decreases for all employees of a currently working shift if a guest leaves before receiving a pizza and vice versa. Motivation increases while an employee is at home. Low motivation reduces quality and speed of an employee.
- Employees now have a health attribute that decreases when the employee is at work and slightly increases when the employee is at home.
- Employees immediately quit work and go home if their health value reaches zero.
- The player is able to cure employees by granting them one day off. The employee will return with full health after he skipped one working day.
- Employees now have flexible working times. Working times can be scaled between 6 and 12 hours.
- Added new notifications that support the changes on the employee feature.
- Employees should now work reliably.
- An analytics view has been added to the employee manager to give a quick overview about employee attributes.
- The employee schedule in the manager can now be sorted by motivation or health.
- Employees now have expression effects that show if an employee has low motivation or low health.
- Service employees now have an expression effect that show up if they are very friendly when they take an order. This is also connected to visualize the positive effect on waiting times.
- The player can now actively manipulate the serve order for guests by either using the inspector (by clicking on a guest) or using the new user interface in the sub menu of the menu card manager.
Content: New furniture assets
- 61 new furniture assets have been added, including 3 new sets of chairs and tables as well as several new carpets and premium decorations assets like a pool table or an aquarium.
- 29 seasonal assets have been added, including surfboards
Balancing
- Motivation and health decrease have been tweaked to be less hard.
- Increased the restaurant storage capacity to 200 kg per shelf.
- Changing the 'Pizzas per guest'-value in freemode now also affects the capacity of the restaurant storage, the warehouse storage and the suppliers.
Bug fixes
General
- Graphs in charts should no longer reactivate if a chart is updated and graphs were hidden by the player.
- Repositioned a hydrant standing on the street in Rome.
- The pizza cart restock button no longer increases in costs with each time the inspector is opened.
- Fixed a bug where employees wouldn't return to work if they went on sick-leave after 30 days of play time.
- Fixed a bug where employees were working from inside of their apartment, which kept the restaurant open for 24 hours.
- The notification that informs the player about empty storage of the pizza cart should no longer be triggered multiple times.
- Fired mascots are now removed properly from the minimap.
- Players can again switch between restaurants in the restaurant balance.
- A bug that prevented triggering achievements when finishing a game in Berlin or Madrid has been fixed.
- The first brand achievement is now triggered correctly after creating a new brand and doesn't check if the game is in first start mode anymore.
- The restaurant storage effect for bad ingredient quality has been fixed and should look as intended again.
- The employee inspector now updates correctly when a selected employee is fired.
Known issues
- The campaign currently lacks explanation for the new employee features.
- Carpets can currently be placed through walls.

- Sometimes the player doesn't get a initial restaurant branch in free mode even if the checkbox is set.
- Mascot stops working at 12 am.

Changes
General
- The symbols above the heads of citizens now also display the duration of specific thoughts.
- The player can now turn on and off the lines between warehouses and marketing spots to the restaurant via a button on the minimap.
Feature: Supply
- The interface for the menu card has been redesigned and includes new valuable information to use the storage more efficiently.
- A pizza on the menu card now shows how many pizzas can be baked with the current stock.
- A pizza on the menu card now shows how many pizzas can be baked with a full stock, according to the current delivery preference. This makes the effect of the delivery prioritization directly visible.
- The user interface for the storage manager has been improved.
- The menu card manager interface now contains information about the total number of pizzas that can be baked based on current inventory.

- The UI above the restaurant storage now has a checklist that identifies the three biggest issues: you can only bake a few pizzas when the storage is full, the average quality of the ingredients is poor, and the storage contains ingredients that are no longer needed and thereby block storage space.
- The user interface above the restaurant storage can now be switched on and off.
- Balancing: The price preferences of each target group have been adjusted to achieve a more realistic result. This also slightly increased the difficulty of the game as a whole.
- Balancing: The capacity of a storage rack has been increased from 100kg to 150kg to allow for more different ingredients on a pizza.
- Balancing: The speed and delivery quantity has been adjusted by the warehouse staff
- Guests who would like to order a pizza that cannot be baked at the moment, because ingredients are missing, choose the next best pizza from the menu as long as it meets a minimum rating.
- The warning triangle for too many different ingredients on the menu card is now disabled as it was misleading.
- The output for the available stock on the menu card is now marked red and shows a tooltip if the ingredients for a pizza cannot be delivered because the stock is already full. This is particularly important when a new pizza is placed on the menu while the restaurant is running.
- The capacity of warehouses has been increased.
Corrupt game data
- The game informs the player about corrupt game data and returns it to the main menu when trying to load it instead of getting stuck in the loading screen.
File system
- When saving various game data, the previous versions are backed up.
- If game data should not be readable by the file system, either the backup files are accessed or the data is to be reconstructed
Pizza Cart
- The pizza cart restocks its ingredients only shortly before opening automatically.
- The player can restock the pizza cart actively by paying a small fee.
- The supply tab in the pizza cart user interface now contains a note on how restocking works.
- Balancing: The capacity of the pizza cart has been increased from 100kg to 200kg
- The pizza cart will display when the storage is refilled.
- The pizza cart now has an user interface in the world that should inform the player about mistakes or issues.
General
- The price preference in the glossary now contains visual markers to indicate from which values prices are rated worse.
- The free game menu now has a slider to control the amount of pizzas sold per guest. This slider can be used to change the difficulty of a game.

Furniture
- 54 new furniture assets have been added to the game. This includes new sets of tables, chairs and lamps as well as some new, unique pieces of furniture.
Bug fixes
General
- Cooks should work reliably again now.
- The “Ich bin ein Berliner!” achievement was changed. Since there are no missions in the campaign with Berlin, the achievement could never be unlocked. This was fixed. The achievement is now tied to winning a free game in Berlin.
- Warehouses are no longer restocked when the vendor is changed.
- Warehouses only restock on start of each day or when they are rented.
- Fixed a NavMesh issue in Sydney that caused everyone in Chapter 6 of the campaign to be stuck in a building.
- The Washington Opera now has correctly placed entrances.
- The target groups comments in the bakery now also react when the profit margin is changed.
- Camera shakers have been fixed. In particular, turning off the option 'invert camera rotation' should not cause any problems.
- The camera rotation speed, set in the options menu, will no longer be reset at game start

- Other issues that cause guests not to be served correctly at high speed have been resolved.

- Citizens give feedback over their heads when they don’t enter a restaurant so that the player receives information what they specifically didn’t like. This also gives relevant feedback to advance through the campaign.
- The overall difficulty of chapter 3 has been eased. The mission design has been changed to better fit the mission texts.
- The architect view has been improved to provide easier placing of furniture to the player. All furniture displays an interface that shows the actual needed space.
