1.01 GOG v2 (28 October 2025)
- Updated DOSBox to version 0.74-2 for improved stability and performance
- Fixed cutscenes not loading properly by switching the DOSBox output to OpenGL
- Tweaked the DOSBox configuration to enhance sound quality and fix audio issues
- Increased the prebuffer value to 1000 to eliminate scrambled audio
- Optimized in-game sound settings for the best possible audio experience
- Added a DOSBox launch menu with sound settings and an option to choose between high or low resolution (the low-res mode includes unique animations worth checking out)
- Introduced a customizable Game Configurator with options for graphics, resolution, and mouse sensitivity
- Merged the US and UK English versions into one launcher, allowing users to select their preferred language without separate installers
- Stability validated
- Fully compatible with Windows 10 and 11

- We have added the Brazilian-Portuguese version of Call of Cthulhu: Prisoner of Ice. A BIG "Obrigado!" goes out to Karnak1 for the donation of the Brazilian-Portuguese version!
- We have fixed the infamous "save bug" that plagued the Mac version of the game. You should now be able to save at anytime without the game crashing or acting in an unusual manner.
