Sometimes, I wish there was music associated with Valentine's Day. I don't mean generic love-themed music, there's tons of that – I mean, Mariah Carey doing All I Want For Christmas Is You, except it's about Valentine's Day. Sure, it's a commercial holiday that makes most people feel lonely and everyone else feel panicked that there aren't any roses left in the supermarket, but wouldn't it be fun to hear Mariah singing "I don't want a lot for Valentine's, there is just one thing I neeeed, I don't care about the chocolates underneath the Valentine's treeeeee"?
Anyway. We might not have Mariah repping this holiday, but we do have Valentine's-themed patch notes for you. And you have me, the person who's willing to write Mariah a Valentiney take on her current bestselling hit. Call me, Mariah.
- Mawwiage! We added mawwiage.
- New snazzy formal outfits for you + all the NPCs at your wedding (which is all of them, plus your parents)
- New dialogue for your spouse + your wedding attendees (sorry, no gifts)
- Your spouse now lives in your house, so I hope it's tidy
- Do you regret your choices? The new Stat Reset Potion lets you reassign Spirit stats. It can't help with any of your other terrible choices though, just that one
- Five new Spirits: 4 Electric, 1 Poison
- Three new Dark fish (and Tobin's trophy case is also slightly bigger to accommodate them)
- You can now tame Spirits of ANY LEVEL at ANY POINT! You can only use them in battle if you have unlocked the skill that gives you mastery over them. Fun fact: if you train a Spirit up, you will have control over it at any level (because they trust you)
- New row of colours on the loom, including my personal favourite colour: TRANSPARENT
- You can now sleep on couches, which doesn't have anything to do with the addition of marriage! Listen, if you mess up badly enough that your spouse makes you sleep on the sofa, that's on you, buddy
- New Valentine's furniture, with a love-themed 70s kind of vibe – there's an animated lava lamp, a heart-shaped bed, AND a hot tub that might remind some of you of a certain piece of furniture from The Sims
- The Magic Man (AKA Waldo) will now show up at the end-of-year firework festival, as long as you have completed his mirror and closed the Rift
- There is no longer a penalty for failing to chat/joke/flirt! This is now the most unrealistic part of Moonstone Island
- I feel like we always have at least one fix to do with fertilizer, so here's the one for this patch: you can no longer accidentally place the same fertilizer on the same tile twice!
- If you have a Warp Totem placed, you can now choose to warp there or to the statue in town when you play your Warp Whistle
- Added a warning when you start a new game, telling you that your autosave will be overwritten. This is a serious warning, THERE IS ONLY ONE AUTOSAVE, so if you're using that as your only save, then be careful!
- Two new achievements: Getting married, and marrying a certain hard-to-get wizard man
And just two bug fixes:
Fixed a bug causing resources in the barn to disappear if you tried to pick them up while your inventory is full
Fixed a bug with grey overlay sometime not disappearing after interacting with an NPC
Woo! Patch notes! As Mariah Carey would have said in the song I wrote for her: All I want for Valentine's is a really robust patch for Moonstone Island. And you got it.

It's time for our 14th patch notes! It's mostly bug fixes today, but one fairly exciting addition...
- Three new island shapes, including everyone's favourite, COOL S
- Hopefully fixed the soft-lock bug when playing Sacrifice and similar cards, so you'll no longer have to SACRIFICE (heh) your day
- Pasting a large image into the loom will no longer crash your game
- We turned down the bridge sound in the Infinidungeon, which was previously playing at max volume. Sorry for all the heart attacks we gave you
- Fixed the fertilizer collision mask, so now you can till the ground around a fertilized tile
- The descriptions for some abilities were too long in some languages and didn't fit in the box! That's fixed now. Looking at you, German
- At the end of the tutorial, the screen is supposed to fade out, but it didn't. Now it do
- There was a bug with Spirits going into storage – basically, if your Spirit took damage or had its stats modified somehow, the game is supposed to reset the stats again when you go to sleep. But if you put those Spirits into the Science Center storage, they would keep the stat changes. Way too OP! We fixed it
And that's it! Enjoyyyy!
