Release Notes for Dread Templar

Update 0.972a (2022-08-29)

• fixing an issue that caused the setting cannot be saved on the start screen

Update 0.960f (2022-04-14)

• 3 new levels: E3M3 World's Edge, E3M4 Distorted Time, E3M5 The manipulator

• 1 new weapon "Tri-rocket launcher" - it launches 3 small missiles, each missile will cause explosive damage in a small radius. The emblem "Fire Wasp" allows it to launch homing missiles, further enhancing its efficiency.
• Other adjustments: The level select mode is now using a new logic; after finishing a level, the next level will be shown on the level select panel (previously, players needed to actually start a new level to activate the button for it on the level select panel)

Update 0.951f (2022-02-22)

New „Hit Marker“ feature

• As mentioned above, „Hit Marker“ will allow you to see when you deal damage to an enemy and will change color when you perform a headshot.

Picking up non key card items

• The non key card items will be shown on the screen after you pick them up, so you can now clearly understand what you got.

Side Area stats

• Level stats and level summary panel now show the "Side Area" stats.

Mouse sensitivity settings improvement

• Some players in the community requested to be able to enter more decimal places to get a higher precision mouse sensitivity. Now you can press Enter to call out the input field and enter mouse_sensitivity 0.0000 to adjust this parameter.

New weapon behaviour

• "Unarmed Strike" is now available after you throw katanas. For a long time, it has been set to be unable to use melee attacks after throwing the katanas. Players sometimes had to switch their katanas from throwing mode to melee mode. Now, you can finally make unarmed attacks during the cooldown.

Update 0.940c (2021-12-15)

New E3M1 level "Dead Sails", including:

• 4 new enemies.
• 2 new golden emblems and 4+ silver emblems
• 1 side area
• 1 super secret
• 1 new song

How to enter the "Dead Sails" level?

• If you have finished Chapter 2, E3M1 will be available from the level select menu.
• You can also enter E3M1 normally in the campaign mode from the E2M5's final portal.

The Halloween area becomes a super super secret

• You can now find your way into the Halloween area through the super secret in E1M1!

Some enemy rebalancing and adjustment of the supplies locations.

Boss: Spider Queen

• Slightly reduced the damage and attack rate of Spider Queen's summoned creatures
• Slightly increased the cooldown for the summon skill of Spider Queen
• A marker will be attached to the Spider Queen's summoned creatures, so that players can spot them more easily
