1.4.5 (2024-06-08)
In this patch (1.4.5) we have improved and fixed the following:
Misc:
- Difficulty tweaks for a better experience
- Water bug workaround for old Intel GPUs
- Increased the size of flying enemies for better hit response
- Decreased medicine level required to pick Licorice and Meadowsweet
- Craft up to 5 recipes at a time
- Improved tooltip item comparison
- Fixed an input action queue issue
- Decreased the dodge/roll chance for some enemies
- Fixed a bug in which a teleport from the bear cavern would cause the game progress to freeze
- Fixed a bug in which the game's FOV was resetting to the default on each load
- Fixed a bug in which the equipment tooltip would not appear when using a controller
Action queue disable: We have found a certain issue related to the action queue, that is, if two actions like a roll and a stab are executed almost simultaneously, the roll is being executed and the stab will be automatically executed after the roll. A new option called 'Disabled Input Action Queue'
was added, that disables the input action queue. If the queue is disabled an action executed during a roll will NOT be executed at the end of the roll.
Two new items:
Infinite Stash: Set up a stash anywhere on the map where you might require a quick inventory reorganization. The stash can be obtained from certain chests and can be created with a Crafting level of 15.
The Spyglass: After acquiring the magnifying glass, the spyglass can be used to see the resources not only on the minimap, but also on the world map. It can be crafted using the existing magnifying glass and a few more ingredients.
1.4.1 (2023-05-13)
In this patch (1.4.1) we have improved and fixed the following:
We announce our New Game Plus game mode. You will be able to save a character profile in-game and start a New Game Plus. The 'Impossible+' difficulty level has been tuned to serve the new mode, for those that would like a bit of a challenge. Now go and obliterate those pesky wolves!
NG+ Features::
- If the 'Secret Door' quest is completed, the 'Platinum Box' is kept
- If the 'Platinum Box' is owned a stash is added to Wigmund's house
- The 'Platinum' is usable only after the objective to meet Raedan is reached
- The Magnifying Glass is kept
- The Visibility Tablet is kept
- The Archaeology Shovel is kept
- All quest items are destroyed
- The tutorial is not displayed on NG+
Misc:
- Increased the resource count (+ added extra spawn points)
- Added an action bar lock in options (items are not removable, only replaceable)
- Right-Click will be used to sell/store items when a merchant/stash is visible
- Recipes/Blueprints can be sold now
Bugs:
- The final boss will not jump into the lava any more
- Some keys (like space) can be remapped for moving now
- Fixed some naming mismatches
- Fixed a rare bug in which a fished casket would reward one less item
- Fixed an issue in which workbenches were not focus-able on the controller
- Fixed an issue when the elevator would not be accessible in the Haunted Basement after a Teleport
1.3.3 (2023-03-18)
In this patch (1.3.3) we have improved and fixed the following:
Content:
- Pets: dog, fire bird
- A new difficulty level, "Impossible"
Abilities:
- Decreased the Stab damage addition from 25% to 15%
- Increased the Stab energy requirement from 50 to 60
- Increased the multi-target Slash damage decrease from -65% to -35%
- Increased the multi-target Backwards Slash damage decrease from -65% to -15%
- Decreased the multi-target Backwards Slash energy required from 40 to 30
- Increased Base Energy regeneration
- Increased Base Grace regeneration and decreased per-Faith grace regeneration
- Decreased Grace gained per point of Faith to 3 (from 5)
- Decreased Speed of Dodge/Roll when running out of energy by -30% (from -10%)
- Increased Damage of Melee/Range abilities when running out of energy to -35% (from -40%)
- Increased the Damage addition percent of the Power Arrow ability
- Decreased the cooldown of the Power Arrow ability
- Decreased the cooldown of the Cleave ability
- Equalized the animation duration for 1H simple sword attacks
- Increased the chance of Knockback/Knockdown for Concussion Shot to 15%
- Decreased the armor gained by the Shield Wall to 400
Misc:
- Controller LB/RB (R1/L1) can be used for quick switching between stash/inventory/merchant
- When acquiring an item a larger icon will be displayed near the character's portrait
Resources:
- Merchants restock reagents every 5 minutes
- Resource spawn duration has been reduced to half
- Ground Quartz and Crystal can be obtained through mining
- Added crafting recipes for Vials/Crystal Vials
- Increased the egg drop chance from Eagles/Hawks
Game:
- Weapons can now be added to the action bar for quick swap
- Infinite stock of picks/fishing rods at Clwyd merchant
- Increased Energy regen per Stamina to 1% per point
- Increased the talent chance to activate the Furor from 2% to 10%
- Fixed a bug where spam-collecting rabbits/chickens would result in collecting many of them
NPC:
- Enemies will regenerate health slower when fleeing
- Enemy camp radius has been increased
- Lonely Valley wolves are now weaker for a better beginning experience
- Increase click area of chickens/crabs/rabbits
- Magic projectiles should be less aggresive when homing towards the player
- The merchant Dwarf will now buy items at a better price than other merchants
Misc:
- Reduced the input qeueue duration, Wigmund will not attempt to execute actions without input
- Fixed a bug in which Wigmund would stop fishing after one animation loop
QoL:
- Item stack splitting (Shift + Left Click)
- Buy single item from merchant (Shift + Left Click)
- The profession panel will show how many items of a type you can craft
- Added a direction arrow for the captive dwarf quest
- Dialogue options can be chosen with 1-6 on the keyboard (or Space for the first option)
- Dialogues can be continued or ended with 'Space' on the keyboard
- Pickaxes and fishing rods are now sellable
Bugs:
- Companions will attack correctly after they die/revive
- Cyneric will roll and dodge less
- Ancient armor pieces will be properly removed from the inventory when the quest is done
- Choosing the correct Grail with full inventory will now work properly
- Aggro through walls in the Evil Castle is not possible anymore
- Corrected some text mistakes
- Fixed an issue in the fort dungeon when the elevators would be inaccessible
- Fixed an issue when the shield would be removed from the action bar on quick swap
- Fixed a crash caused by camera rotation
- Fixed a bug when enemies would not damage Wigmund after receiving a knockback
1.2.5 (2023-02-01)
In this patch (1.2.5) we have improved and fixed the following:
Abilities:
- Cleave has a faster animation
- Cleave improved damage to 50/70/90% on Rank 1, Rank 2, Rank 3
- Cleave cooldown reduced to 40/35/30s on Rank 1, Rank 2, Rank 3
- Sword Dance improved damage to 100/140% on Rank 1, Rank 2
- Exorcism cooldown reduced to 25/15s on Rank 1, Rank 2
- Exorcism damage increased to 130/170% on Rank 1, Rank 2
- Justice Aura also reflects a small fixed amount of damage
- Justice Aura will not work on ranged enemies any more
- Increased the duration of War Blessing to 15 minutes
- Improved the Power Arrow ability damage percent increase to 70/90/120% (Rank 1, 2, 3)
- Decreased the Power Arrow animation duration by 20%
Misc:
- Increased the stash size from 50 to 100 slots
- Double click will sell an item to a merchant

Game:
- Added a timed autosave (in addition to the event based autosave)
- Added two wine slots to the Dwarf
- Merchants replenish food/potions every 5 minutes on a level load
- Reduced high-level (mithril/silver/gold/valerian/myrrh) resource respawn time to ~20 minutes
- Reduced medium-level resource respawn time to ~15 minutes
- Reduced low-level resource respawn time to ~10 minutes
- Enemy spells are easier to dodge
- Decreased respec rune price to 15
- Recipe Scrolls can be learned at any level, only creating the item will require the proper level
- Added a 'K' key that auto-opens the abilities book
- Camera pitch/tilt on zoom
- Camera can be rotated with the mouse in-place
- Added an experience bar
- Improved Cyneric (+50 HP +50 Armor)
- Improved Wigstan (+25 HP +4 Damage)
Bugs:
- Fixed a very rare bug in which Drof would not spawn
- Fixed bug with Sword Dance being cast-able with a Bow
- Fixed a bug in which a teleport could cause a game stuck
- Fixed a misunderstanding in the "Bear Head" quest, Raedan will properly guide the player now
- Fixed a bug related to 'Golden Apple' quest not showing the next objective
- Fixed an issue with companions blocking mouse swipes/clicks
- Companions/friendlies will not block arrows any more
- Added an unstuck spell in the ability list. Use with caution
Graphics:
- Added a sharpen option
- Added an extra Antialias mode (Temporal AA)
Note: For high-end PC's enabling TAA + 0.25 sharpen and supersampling will yield less 'sparkles'.
Notes:
- For the camera pitch/tilt we done the maximum that our game environment can take. Increasing the pitch more would create ugly visible artifacts. It is a top down, not a 3rd person game :)
- The 'Unstuck' spell should be used with care, and only in the case that the character is stuck in the level's geometry.
