Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the player could not join boarding battles in specific campaign missions
- Fixed boarding battles with a Tier 3 trading ship that would never start
- Fixed AI fleets sometimes stopping movement when trying to repair after combat
- Fixed AI ships attempting to board an enemy ship being unable to join an ongoing boarding battle initiated by their target, when the target's sails were not destroyed
- Fixed AI fleets sometimes being unable to attack an enemy city after finishing an attack on another enemy city
- Fixed spy mission softlocks, the mission will now auto-complete when the target faction has no city and not enough ships to spy on
Changes
- Modified AI behavior so Corsair ships are more careful
- Rebalanced the tutorial coffee trade quest so the player doesn't wait too long, as resource production has been slowed down following the previous update
Additions
- Opening the Escape Menu in a solo game now freezes the game
- Added a version check for multiplayer games

As promised in our last hotfix, we've been carefully listening to your feedback regarding the overall pacing of the game. Many of you felt the combat and ship movements were moving too fast, and we agree. Here is a balancing pass to address this.
Ship Movement
- Speed acceleration and deceleration reduced by 25%
- Rotation acceleration and deceleration reduced by 25%
- Max speed reduced by 15%
- Min speed reduced by 10%
Ship Combat
- Ship HP increased by 10%
- Cannons now fire in bursts instead of continuous shots
- All Cannons balls speed decreased
Faction ships
- Buff faction specific ships
Boarding
- Added a delay between the canon shoot and the cannonball landing
- Cannons longer initial cooldown
- Tier 3 ships now deploy 10% more units
- Crew members pathfinding tweak
- Crew members HP and damage rebalance
- Crew members movement speed decreased by 10%
Fortress
- Fortress HP increased by 10%
- Fixed incorrect fortress crew member count
- Cannon balls speed decreased
Wind
- Ship slower when facing the wind straight on
Spies
- Spy initial cost increased
- Spy cost per faction increased
- Spy incremental cost increased
- Spy duration decreased
Resources production
- All tiers of Governor's palace produce resources at a slower rate
- Tier 1 Governor's palace can't produce Jewels anymore
Fixes
- Dutch Act 3 Mission 6 : Defend Port Royal from the Spanish
- Fix a defending English ship with the wrong setup
- Men-at-arms' axe jitter, when Men-at-arms fall from a plank
- Key rebinding not working
Quality of Life
- Able to zoom more at sea and in boarding
- Text box enlarge to allow text to overflow
- Adding an option to never show the ships' HP gauge
- Adding an offset to the ships' HP gauge
- Decreased ships' HP gauge size by 22%
Here is a second batch of fixes addressing the following issues:
- Fixed a Russian text element in the main menu that was overflowing its designated area
- Fixed several Chinese text elements that were not displaying correctly in the UI
