v2.0.1 Bugfix Patch
- Fixed a very rare bug where the game would softlock if encountering an enemy on the exact same frame Ian's shockwave "stunned" status wears off on that enemy on the field.
- Fixed a bug where enemy performances would sometimes prematurely end.
- Fixed a bug where upon initial entry into the Mad Zone, the player was sometimes on the wrong layer and could walk through walls and couldn't speak to anyone.
- Fixed a memory leak -- the fast travel screenshots were leaking.
- Fixed a thread leak in the pathfinding system that was causing crashes on some platforms.
- Fixed a bug where you could be pushed outside the Bus Station during a cutscene that takes place inside it.
v2.0.0 MAJOR Content Update!!
It's a big day for Deathbulge today! To celebrate the MULTI-CONSOLE RELEASE of Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands, we've thrown in some free extras while we were at it, extras that we are also sharing with you all as well.
- Easy mode added! If you're having trouble or just want to enjoy the story, you can converse with MODPOD666-X at any point to bring down the challenge levels.
- THE MAD ZONE is now accessible during late-game! If you want a little extra challenge, take a trip to Hellblivion; the shopkeeper might have something for you.
- A few new items! one of which you can buy from Eezer's Evil Goods in Hoho, the others will require some triumphant victories in the aforementioned Mad Zone.
- A fancy pants animated cutscene now plays on startup! It took a hefty chunk of time to make, when you see it you'll soon see why.
- Countless optimisations and bugfixes! Mostly made for the benefit of the console release, but they will make the game run better on GOG too! The version of FMOD (the audio engine) will be upgraded which promises native Linux support, meaning hopefully Proton is no longer needed as a workaround on some flavors of Linux like it is now.
