Update 1.1.1 - Up to the Sky
Level creators rejoice, take Mylo up to the clouds with new toys at your disposal. Clouds, desert terrain, air blowers, and more!
At the same time, I would like to announce that the game passed a big milestone - there are now over 400 custom levels made thanks to passionate level creators. That's 100 amazing maps done every month since the release of the game and 7x the amount of levels in all 4 episodes together.
If you haven't played custom levels yet I encourage you to do so and maybe try yourself at level creation while you're at it, we are always happy to play new levels!
NEW
- New level editor toys to play with:
- New object - Air Blower - pushes Mylo away from it (can be turned on/off with switches)
- New object - Dark Platforms (platforms visible only in darkness )
- New terrain - Desert (Yellow)
- New tiles - Clouds (can be walked on), wooden box vertical middle pieces, single alien vine tiles, and diagonal decorative metal pieces!
UPDATES
- New sound added for breaking the egg with the Power shot (like in the original game)
FIXES
- Fixed Fruit Diet achievement typo
- In low gravity levels, the player was pushed in the wrong direction if you fired before making a move
- Key HUD icon displayed over other HUD elements on specific resolutions
- If you hit the hidden crystal block and exited the level before points were added, the points were lost
- Water pipe water leaking through toggling platforms
- In the Workshop level browser, the download arrow stayed if you switched the page/filter before downloading ended.
- Issue where 2-eyed mini-boss always moved to the right, regardless of the level editor settings.
Crystal Caves HD now on Linux (6th Nov 2020)
Linux support is here together with v1.0.5 update which adds new toys for level creators
Linux users rejoice, Crystal Caves HD is now available for Linux OS! Join hundreds of other players on the race for the top spot on the leaderboards or get creative and design your dream adventure in an ever-growing level editor.
Next to the Linux release, Version 1.0.5 is also featuring new level editor tile pieces and new object variations.

- Snake & Spring monsters ignored starting direction set in the level editor
- In level editor save dialog, input was filled with random letters on start

Update v1.0.4 - Halloween & Level Editor update (30 Oct 2020)
Altairians are celebrating Halloween and Level creators are getting a new set of tiles

Enjoy the festive-themed pickups and break some pumpkins for the extra bonus.
It seems you really enjoy making custom levels because now we have a shocking amount of 150 custom levels made!!! To celebrate this amazing milestone, we added a new tileset and new background which you can now use to create new levels that were never seen before in Crystal Caves!
FIXES
- Falling rocks have too small collision
- E3L10 banana fruit spawn position changed
- Secret Level - Gamepad rumbling effects added
- Secret Level - Gamepad rumbling won't stop if you restart the secret level
- Secret Level - Restore menu height incorrect
- 'q' letter could not be used in any text boxes
- Level Editor - Music ignores audio settings
- Level Editor - Some enemies will ignore direction set in the editor
- Restore game wording not consistent (Load Game replaced with Restore game)

- Halloween holidays themed pickups lasting from October 28th to November 2nd (festive content can be disabled in settings)
- [Workshop level browser] You can skip pages with Page Up/Down
- Menu options reorganized
- Mylo sprite got updated with proper shading instead of mirroring the sprite

Update v1.0.3 October 23rd 20202
Game updates, bug fixes and more!
Game is out for 1 week now with over 1000 players fighting for the top spot and with over 80 amazing custom levels made which is more than 4 episodes of the main game together, keep them coming!
We worked hard to fix the bugs you spotted and applied some updates you asked for.
FIXES
- Mine Cart floating under specific conditions
- Low Gravity not present on E4L01
- On Workshop level rate panel, default level name is used for every level
- Story screen doesn't use volume settings
- Falling through some platform tiles when placed in specific position
- Centipede tail lagging behind under specific condition
- Rocket passing through Egg when it's placed next to the wall
- Air enemies & Spiders are ignoring hitting invisible collision
UPDATES
- Darkness in dark levels is slightly brighter with more contrast
- Enemy sprite shading updated to match the original game
- Workshop level browser improved
- You can browse through more than 50 levels now
- Filter added to display levels that need more ratings - consider playing them.
- Reputation info added to each map which is constructed from amount of votes, up votes and down votes. Higher the reputation, more votes (most likely positive ones) it has. Low reputation can also mean there are not many votes yet.
- 3 New tiles added to the level editor
- Left & right arrows
- Stone platform (sprite was part of the original assets but never used in game)

- Fixed statistic screen that was showing wrong amount of gems for Episode 4
