Hey detectives,
The following issues are addressed in this two patch package based on player feedback.
Hidden phrase checking
We have fixed a rare condition where a phrase may become hidden under another phrase in the inventory. The game now checks phrase positions to make sure that if any phrase overlaps another, it will move that phrase to the next free slot in the inventory.
Corrupt save file detection
We've had rare cases where player save files were corrupted by the OS. If the game detects a corrupted save, the player will be invited to visit a helpful savegame repository with instructions on how to recover progress.
Bugs fixed
Fixed a bug where in scenario 10 one could input repeated phrases in the virtue solver and receive correct evaluation.
Fixed a bug where in scenario 9 the incorrect phrases were given to the players in two phrase gathering spots (not a game breaking bug, the correct phrases were given elsewhere anyway).
Fixed that you can switch around Alistair and James' surnames in the epilogue third scroll and still be correct.
Fixed that if you are zoomed in, the screen position is broken when you return to the scenario selection screen.
Lots of typos fixed
A number of typos and grammar mistakes were corrected in the texts of the game.
Removed visual inconsistencies
A number of visual glitches were removed and some legacy visuals updated to improve clarity of the game.
